Relationship affairs / How do I know if he is truly interested in me?
« on: March 02, 2017, 09:11:19 PM »
It's not easy to decipher the mind of the modern male, but
learning to decode what his nonverbal communication truly
means is an invaluable asset in the game of love. So in order to be
sure you're reading him right, look out for the following 10 signs.
Leaning into Love: If a guy is interested in you, you'll find that
his body will lean forward toward yours. This move can be either
very subtle or extremely "in your face" (literally!). It's his way of
letting you know he'd like to get even closer. Once his interest is
piqued, you'll both find it hard to pull away!

.
Keeping It Even Closer: A vital aspect of the physical nature of
romance is reciprocity.
,
Translation: meeting his advances with
your own. This not only signals your own interest, but also
serves to keep his.

,
The Eyes Have It: We've all heard the proverb, "The eyes are
the window to the soul." If he's interested in you, he'll focus on
you with those piercing peepers and hold it. Return his romantic
gaze with a quiet smile and let him know that you are interested.
He'll be at your side in no time.
Touching Is a Good Thing: If a guy is interested in you, then
he'll want to be near you. He'll also want to take every opportunity
to touch you. Maybe it's your arm, your leg, your knee — it
doesn't matter, as long as his presence is physical and
affectionate. It's his way of letting you know he likes you.

.
Funny Meeting You Here: Coincidence is out. Serendipity is in.
Those so-called "happy accidents" may not be so accidental after
all. Perhaps his "surprise" appearance at your favorite Starbucks
or hangout is a signal that he's trying to connect with you (but
doesn't want you to think he's a stalker!). Take this as a positive
sign and make the most of your next encounter. You may find
that you share more in common than just an addiction to double
lattes.
,
Listen Closely: How do you know that you have a guy's
attention? When he's not talking about himself. It's that simple.
The next time you're in a bar, listen closely to any table full of men
and you will hear them speaking rapturously about their favorite
subject: themselves. For a man to shut up and really listen to what
you have to say, you know it must be love (or at least a strong
attraction). He'll put that male genetic ADD to rest once and for all
after he's found his Miss Right.
.
The Guy Who Liked Chick Flicks: Okay, we all know he'd
much rather be watching the big game, but it's an important sign
if he shows an interest in the things you like as well. If he's happy
to watch a movie you picked out or doesn't complain when it's
time to hit the mall for a little shopping trip, you've made a serious
leap forward in the dating game! Give him extra points if he makes
the popcorn.
.
Funny Lady: Can't tell a joke to save your life? Does he laugh at it
anyway? Men are very in touch with their sense of humor
(women often complain that men never take anything seriously,
right?), so if he's sending some hearty laughter your way, it's a
good bet he's looking at you as relationship material.
.
Confidence, Man: If a guy's into you, you make him nervous.
He'll get goose bumps or a rapidly beating heart just from being
around you. Look for signs like unexplained laughter, sweaty
palms and fidgeting. Guys always want to be in control of their
emotions — we like to be in charge. If he has trouble doing that
around you, it's most likely because you make him nervous and
excited. Don't take it for granted; help him to relax, and he'll thank
you by being a great guy you can depend on.
.
The Feeling Is Mutual: Men and women have very different
brain chemistries: She is verbal; he is not. He is driven by visual
desires, while she is guided by her deep emotions. Women are
taught to rationally express their feelings and feel no shame in
crying, and men punch things. Therefore, if you get a guy to
actually open up and express his emotions, consider it a major
achievement in your relationship. Discussing your feelings for
each other is a powerful bonding experience for the two of you
and serves to strengthen a relationship for whatever challenges the future may bring.

Firstly, I want you to know that the list in this article
doesn’t provide concise knowledge regarding you taking
a woman on a first date or how she would react to you. It
is essential you bear in mind that she’s probably sleeping
with another man especially if you’re not providing
excellent service in the bedroom. More so, these signs
are mostly based on how comfortable the girl in question
is with you and can not be used to judge a girl you hardly
know or have been on just a few dates with.
Furthermore, if you are the jealous type (or appear to be so),
chances are she won’t be comfortable with sharing her innermost
secrets with you as she is not sure what your reactions would be
like of you find out that she’s been with someone else. In this
way, her actions can be attributed to your behaviour rather than
her love for another man’s penis.
Anyways, it all depends on whether you care enough about her
and the relationship. If you’re not looking for a long term
relationship or you just want to score her and move on. This
might sound harsh but that is the reality of the times we find
ourselves in even as there are numerous options available in the
pool of dating. Added with a level of acceptance of female
promiscuity especially by certain feminists then you can see why
it is justified to know the truth about who else she’s sleeping with.
Have it at the back of your mind that some women are
manipulative and astounding liars. Sometimes they do things just
to throw you off and at other times, they are caught up within
themselves and those signs may give a wrong impression.

.
The Phone Is Face Down:

If you find out that her phone is placed far down whenever you’re
with her, she’s probably hooking up with another dude. Why do
you think a lady would have her phone face down whenever
she’s with you? She’s obviously hiding something and what do
you think she’d want to hide from the man she’s dating? Of
course it’s an instant messaging notification, text message or call
from a guy she’s with.
.
She Checks, But Does Not Respond:
 To Certain Texts
Almost all girls engage in some form of teasing on their phones
with their friends. They enjoy sending messages to each other
and replying instantly. Notice when you’re with her, how she
smiles and responds to her girlfriends messages. Now think of
when she gets a notification and fails to respond to it. It’s
obviously a guy. This sign is a bit tricky given the fact that girls
will have lots of guys calling and texting them and as such difficult
to assess. But if she’s always checking her messages and fails to
respond to them, she’s probably doing so cause it’s from a
person she doesn’t want you to know about.

.
Denying you the honeypot:
Most girls won’t want you to give them cunnilingus when it’s less
than a day that another guys penis was in there. Of course, there
are times when they are just not in the mood for it or they’ve not
had their baths in hours or she feels her period is almost here.
Despite how conniving women may be, they have a subtle
respect for their regular guys and wouldn’t want his mouth where
another guy’s stick has been.
Also, when she suddenly starts giving you unexpected blowjobs
which she previously didn’t, know that she feels guilty that she’s
doing same to some other guy. If she refuses you sex at times, it
could be she just recently made out with someone else on the
same day. It’s most important to get girls to be free and open
with you and I guarantee that you’d be shocked at what you
discover. Some of them have no problems sleeping with more
than one guy on the same day or making out with other girls as
much as they do with you.

.
Her “Friend” Is neither male or female:
When she starts telling you about a friend that she has plans with
without explicitly stating if it’s a man or woman, chances are the
so called friend is a dude. This one is self-explanatory. Girls that
are more deceptive in nature would rather completely withhold
information from you than lying about who the friend is.

.
.
The Surprise Shave:
If you have had surprise sex with her and perhaps a couple of
times when she wasn’t shaved and you discover her to be
randomly shaved all of a sudden, she is probably looking forward
to sex from someone else. This is even more true if she’s shaved
on a day she’s not expected to see you.
Lastly, remember these signs are not perfect and they do not
completely tell if she’s with someone else but are definitely things
you should be on the lookout for. Nowadays, it is best to think
she’s sleeping with some other guy until the time you’re proven
wrong.

From Amarachi:
It started yesterday afternoon when my husband took me to the
hospital to pick up my family planning pills with our 2 months old
baby. To cut the story short, I went into d midwife's office alone
to pick d pill , ask questions and get answers.
Inside the midwives office was a very young doctor who got
involved in all my discussion with the midwife. Alone the line, the
midwife went out to pick something and at that moment the
young doctor asked me for my number, I gave him a wrong
number .
So when we got home I told my husband about it. He got angry ,
started attacking me about it , my husband said giving the doctor
a number at all was me insulting him, that it doesn't matter if it
was a wrong number or not .
Truth is, I'm not the type to insult a guy who approached me, I
always give wrong number. I have been apologising to my
husband since yesterday even when I totally don't think I did
something wrong , Yet he is still boiling up. Pls I need to
understand what I did wrong cos I don't think I did something
wrong.
What am I to do?

News / NBC Withdraws Radio Licences Of 54 Companies
« on: March 01, 2017, 06:08:57 PM »
Abuja, March 1, 2017 (TNE): The regulatory body, the National
Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has wielded its axe against
54 companies, revoking their radio licences with immediate
effect, The Nigerian Expression can authoritatively report.
Sources at the NBC told the publication on the condition of
anonymity, that the provisional FM radio licences that the
commission offered to the companies in 2015 were revoked
after they either failed to pay the licence fee or commence
operations within the stipulated time frame.
”’The law guiding the award of provisional licences is very
clear. Once granted the licence, you have 60 days to pay for
it and a two-year period to come on air,” the source, a very
senior official at the Commission, told the publication.
”It then means that if you fail to make payment within the
stipulated time or could not come on air within two years,
the licence offered to you is automatically revoked.”
The 54 affected companies constitute the first batch of
licencees that will be affected as the Commission, under a
new, vibrant leadership, commences a mass review of the
award of licences, especially FM Radio licences.
The Nigerian Expression reports that cases involving another
batch of 124 companies are being reviewed. In fact, it was
learnt that the companies, most of which actually paid within
60 days of being awarded their licences, may have their
licences revoked for failing to start operations within the
stipulated time.
”These new set of 124 companies will be given a few weeks’
notice to commence operations or lose their licences,” the
source said.
Another review being carried out by the NBC involves FM
radio stations that are operating outside the set criteria,
especially the capacity of their transmitters.
”’No FM station can operate with over 2-kW transmitter.
However, the situation currently is such that a number of FM
stations are operating far above the stipulated transmitter
capacity.
”We are going to give all affected stations a deadline to revert
to the stipulated 2-kW capacity or lose their licences,” the
source said.

Man awarded N530,000 against MTN by Federal High Court
for unauthorized deduction for callertunez
TellforceblogThe Federal High Court in Ibadan on
Wednesday, March 1, 2017 has awarded N530,000 to one
Oluwole Aluko for unauthorised deduction from his lines by
MTN Nigeria.
Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel who passed the judgement,
held that MTN had found itself guilty by not challenging the
suit.
In his Judgement, he stated: “The plaintiff has the right to
allow or reject the use of a caller tune. MTN cannot force the
use of any caller tune on him or anybody because it is
unlawful.
“Though the plaintiff sought N10 million as damages, but I
hold that any damage suffered must be commensurate with
the claim.
“I, hereby, award a cost of N500,000 for the damages
suffered and another N30,000 as cost incurred during the
court process.”
The complainant, who is also stand in as counsel for himself
in the case, had in 2016 filed a N10 million suit against the
same telecom giant.
He claimed that MTN Nigeria had unlawfully made series of
deductions from three of his MTN lines for caller tunes which
he did not subscribe to.
However, in another twist, Mr Fatiullah Tiamiyu who the
defence counsel has claimed that MTN is not aware of any
court process.
He said: “That is the reason the company has not been
represented in any previous sitting.”

News / Heritage Bank Should Be Shut Down – Company Tells Court, CBN
« on: March 01, 2017, 06:06:30 PM »
The Federal High Court in Abuja and the Central Bank of
Nigeria (CBN) have been asked to wind up and revoke the
operational licence of the Heritage Bank over an alleged
state of financial insolvency of the financial institution.
The court and CBN were asked to invoke the provisions of section
408, 409 and 410 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990 to
liquidate the bank because of its alleged inability to meet up with
demands of its customers due to its distressed status.
An Abuja based company, Geonel Integrated Services
Limited in a petition filed against the bank at the Federal
High Court alleged that Heritage bank has been showing
signs of distress and insolvency in the recent times and
may cause colossal economic damages to Nigerians
unless it is shut down on court order.
In the petition filed by the security outfit, it claimed that it
maintains four separate accounts with Nos. 1300083902,
6200100931, 6000105125 and 3200121515 as well as a
fixed deposit account at the Abuja branch of the bank.
Petitioner owned by a foreign investor, Mr. Wolfgang Reinl, an
Australian Security Experts claimed it has N1,811,555,258 and
another $85,859 in the accounts and that the huge sums have
been trapped in the bank due to its inability to meet up with its
expected obligations.
In the petition filed by Mr. Mazi Afam Osigwe, an Abuja based
lawyer, the company alleged that it had made several applications
through cheques to transact withdrawal business but that the
bank had failed and neglected to honour the cheques.
Petitioner alleged that in January last year, a Judge of the court,
Binta Murtala Nyako granted the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC) an order to freeze the accounts for a period of
six months to carry out some investigations.
It claimed that the order granted EFCC expired on July 24, 2016 and
that the same Justice Binta Murtala Nyako confirmed expiration of
the order in her ruling delivered on November 16, 2016.
As a result of the inability of the bank to honour its obligations, the
petitioner claimed that it has been actively instigating the EFCC to
secure a fresh order to stop it from accessing or operating the
accounts so as to cover up its distressed status.
The petitioner presented several newspaper reports that the bank
is financially distressed and the denial of its management to the
contrary.
It, however, said that in spite of the public denial of the
distress, the bank has been unable to honour several
financial obligations to customers rushing to withdraw
their money to escape unpleasant economic effects.
It, therefore, urged the court to declare the bank
distressed, insolvent and to hold that the bank is indebted
to it to the tune of N1.8b and another $85,859.
Petitioner also applied for an order of the court to wind up the
bank and another order compelling the CBN to withdraw or
revoke the banking licence of the bank.
Meanwhile, no date has yet been fixed for hearing of the petition.

I am tired of all this sexual harassment from most of our so called
female celebrities, especially top actresses in Nollywood... For the
fact that i am single doesn't mean I should give in to your sexual
advances.
Let me categorically state that I am single but am not searching... I
have had so many actresses in nollywood played and toiled with
my heart in the past, and am not ready to allow it happen again,
why is it that every time I am on a movie location in Asaba, I get
sexually harrassed by some actresses? I have tried to tell them
politely that I am not interested in having any relationship yet, but
they keep forcing themselves on me. The last movie location I
was on in Enugu, that's how a particular actress tried to force
herself on me while I was in the toilet... If not that i screamed
aloud, i might had gotten myself raped..This is getting out of
hand, and I think it is not good at all. I am not the type of actor
that sleeps around, I am God fearing and the last thing I will ever
do is to allow one actress seduce me into sleeping with her while
am on a movie location, I don't mix business with pleasure dear, I
am very professional. I know of some actors who will easily fall
for this, but am sorry, am not like the rest. I have dignity.

Onnoghen was born on December 22, 1950 at Okurike town,
Biase local government area of Cross Rivers state.
After obtaining a law degree from the University of Legon, Ghana,
he started his career as pupil state counsel at the ministry of
justice, Lagos in 1978.
He practiced law for several years before he joined the bench.
He made history in Nigeria on April 11, 2014 when he, alongside
some of his colleagues, made a landmark pronouncement in the
case of two Igbo women, Gladys Ada Ukeje and Maria Nweke,
who argued that they should have equal access as men to the
inheritance of their parents.
In Igbo culture, women had been disinherited for ages as a result
of tradition.
The two women sued the men in their families – and finally got
justice as the case moved from the lower to the highest courts in
the land.
He also upheld the death sentence meted out to Chukwuemeka
Ezeugo, known as “Rev. King”, the general overseer of Christian
Praying Assembly, who was accused of murdering a member of
his church in 2006.
Futhermore, it was Onnoghen, who annulled Yar’Adua’s election
in December 2008 and called for a fresh one, after the then Gen.
Buhari argued that the election was rigged.
However, his decision, alongside other colleagues, did not hold as
they did not have the required number of Justices to pull the
judgement through.
Onnoghen is remarkably the first southerner to be CJN since 1987
when Ayo Irikefe retired, the cable revealed.

News / Radio Bayelsa General Manager Flogs 3 Female & 1 Male Workers
« on: February 23, 2017, 09:26:40 PM »
Industrial dispute at Radio Bayelsa, christened Glory FM, has
distorted its operation as the General Manager, John
Idumange, flogged four staffs on duty, however some report
had said the staffers were whipped by suspected thugs.
The Radio Bayelsa Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)
and Radio Television and Theatre Arts Workers Unions
(RATTAWU) consequently shut the radio station.
Briefing newsmen on Thursday in Yenogoa, NUJ Chairman in
Radio Bayelsa, Tonye Yemoleigha, said that he and three
female staff were caned by the General Manager of the
Station.
“Four of us, myself and three female staff were flogged by
Idumange himself. The report that it was thugs is inaccurate.
It was the General Manager himself. The blisters on the skin
are more severe for the ladies.
“We have reported the matter to the Ekeki Police Division and
sought medical attention at the Federal Medical Centre,
Yenagoa. Workers have been constantly intimidated and
threatened.
“John Angese, Bayelsa Council Chairman of NUJ who is a staff
of Radio Bayelsa has also been threatened with a sack, we are
all being victimized for insisting that the General Manager
complies with Public Service rules.
“We have been under siege since the General Manager was
appointed in December 2016. We are not opposed to
repositioning the station which is in our interest but we want
the procedure to follow due process,” Yemoleigha said.
He added that workers of the station are not opposed to staff
redeployment, but the unions should also be part of the
process to ensure that the best hands are not sacrificed on
the altar of nepotism, sentiment or witch-hunt.
“We are also aware of the alleged over N5 million naira
payroll fraud which Idumange claimed to have uncovered
and has referred to the Police for investigation.
“Ordinarily, in line with established procedures, an
Investigative Panel should have been instituted to look into
the matter and come up with a report with which
management would act as appropriate.
“All these are expressly spelt out in the Public Service Rules;
however, we are requesting for a copy of the police report
after their investigation.
“We have asked management to properly discipline everyone
involved in an established case of running the salary of a staff
who resigned with effect from August 2016,” he explained.
Idumange, however, dismissed the allegations that he
flogged staffs of the station, saying that the unions were
being used to sabotage his efforts at re-positioning the station
which was in a deplorable state before his appointment.
According to him, there was no going back on his reform
efforts as they have received the blessings of the supervising
Bayelsa Ministry of Information.
“This small radio station has 346 workers; employment and
job placement have never followed due process, we are
currently reorganizing the place and they are resisting our
efforts.
“Those ghost workers must be fished out and the payroll
cleaned up. The wage bill of the station is N35 million
monthly and it is not sustainable. My predecessor incurred a
debt of N40 million.
“The unions are being instigated by the Heads of Department
affected in the illegal recruitment, and those who came into
that place through the back door,” he said.

News / Court Rejects Metuh’s Bid To Call Dasuki As Witness
« on: February 23, 2017, 09:24:41 PM »
ABUJA – The Federal High Court in Abuja, on Thursday,
refused to summon the detained ex-National Security
Adviser, NSA, Col. Sambo Dasuki, retd, to explain why he
gave N400million to former spokesman of the Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, prior to the 2015
presidential election
Trial Justice Okon Abang dismissed as lacking in merit, the
request which Metuh filed through his lawyer, Dr. Onyechi
Ikpeazu, SAN.
Metuh is answering to a seven-count charge the Economic
and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, preferred against
him and his firm, Destra Investment Limited.
The anti-graft agency alleged that the defendants had before
the election, received N400million from the Office of the
National Security Adviser, ONSA, without executing any
contract.
It said the fund which was released to Metuh and his firm by
Dasuki, was part of about $2.1billion earmarked for the
purchase of arms to fight insurgency in the North East.
Metuh had in his defence before the court, insisted that the
money was given to him to conduct media campaigns for
ex-President Goodluck Jonathan before the 2015 general
election.
In a bid to substantiate his claim, the defendant pleaded the
court to issue a subpoena to compel the Federal Government
to allow Dasuki who has been in detention since November 3,
2015, to appear and testify on his behalf.
While dismissing the application, Justice Abang held that
Dasuki was not a “compellable” witness.
The Judge said there was no evidence before the court to
show that Metuh applied to the Department of State Service,
DSS, which has Dasuki in its custody, and such request was
turned down.
He said it was not the duty of a court to compel a witness to
appear and testify for a defendant.
“The first defendant cannot come to the court first when he
had not approached the DSS”.
The Judge held that Metuh’s request was in bad faith,
stressing that Dasuki was not included in the list of witnesses
the defendant earlier submitted to the court.
He held that Metuh’s application was an afterthought, saying it
was a deliberate ploy to delay the trial.
Likewise, Justice Abang declined Metuh’s application for leave
to travel to the United Kingdom for surgery.
Metuh had prayed the court for temporary release of his
international passport to enable him to seek medical attention
abroad.
Justice Abang said he could not grant the request considering
that he had earlier dismissed a similar application the
defendant made on May 25, 2016.
He said the defendant ought to have appealed against that
ruling, adding that granting the instant application would
amount to his court sitting on appeal over its own ruling.
Meantime, Metuh who was visibly displeased with the ruling,
accused Justice Abang of being biased against him.
Reacting to the ruling, his lawyer, Ikpeazu, SAN, said his client
has lost his trust on ability of the Judge to handle the trial
objectively.
“We are not confident that the court will give us Justice in this
matter”, Ikpeazu added.
Consequently, Metuh’s lawyer asked Justice Abang to
disqualify himself from further presiding over the matter, a
request that was also dismissed by the court.
The matter was subsequently adjourned till March 20 for
Metuh to call more witnesses in his defence of the charge
against him.

Governor Yahaya Bello on Tuesday vowed to deal with Boko
Haram terrorists who have relocated from the northeast to Borno
state.
He spoke at the seventh edition of the National Security Seminar
entitled: “Consolidating on the Gains of Counter Terrorism
Operations in Nigeria.”
“Kogi is now a haven for Boko Haram, because many of them
have relocated to my state.
“Just last night, four high profile Boko Haram members were
arrested in Kogi by the military.
“I want to assure them that they have chosen a wrong place to
relocate, because we will never allow them.
“We will work together with the armed forces to consolidate on

Realistically, there are only two things you can do:
1. Display yourself to your best advantage (I don't mean only
looks-wise, see below).
2. Forget about it and get on with your life.
If you have "asked her" [What by the way? This is a little
important...] and she has said "not interested" you have only one
hope. Listen carefully.
If there is a natural and not-stalker-weird situation where both of
you are in proximity to each other, like you are both in the same
class, work together, take the same train in the morning or
whatever, you can use this opportunity to display your wit, style,
handsomeness and kindness to puppies to your best advantage.
OR your Devil-may-care, hardbitten, prison-tattooed, Outlaw
exterior. Or your mastery of advanced accounting. Different
women like different things.
But - good news! You don't have to guess! You could always
ask her about her interests! And - bear with me! - listen to
the answers! Please note: I am not suggesting that if she likes
sk8r dudes you turn up to the next day's commute in a pair of
Vans.
NB: Never change who you are for another. Unless the real you is
horrible. In that case - change.
But at least this way you know whether you and she have any
sort of spark at all. And hell, no matter what happens, you might
make a friend. That's pretty amazing right there.
Now if she just isn't into you (including as a friend) after you have
saved the puppy/kicked the puppy/discovered there is no spark
but you both like X (delete as appropriate), well tough. Too bad,
but hey, better to find out now instead of later. Move on and up.
